I just wanted to say HI
I'm very new to fish keeping but I'm really enjoying it!!! I can honestly say that it has kept me occupied and happy during these past few months because we had horrible winter up here in Maine this year!! Talking about being house-bound with snow!! And thank God for my new Fish tank or I would have gone crazzy! Anyhow, I kinda got into fish because of a tiny baby Eastern Painted turtle "Tippy" that I found 4 1/2 years ago and he ended up in a 10 gallon tank with a tiny Pleco "Big Fish". Well, they out-grew that and were moved to a 30 gallon tank and of course they out-grew that too!! By then Tippy and Big Fish were best buds (You'd have to see them to believe it!) so I couldn't seperate them. Tippy who is now 8" and Big-Fish who is now approx a massive 13" are now happily living in a new 100 gal corner tank with 2 sm Oscars, 2 sm Salvini Cichs, 2 sm Nicaragua Cichs, 1 sm Convict, 1 sm Green Severum, 1 tiny Synodontis Eupterus Cat, and 1 sm Electric Blue JD. Everyone gets along great "So far" I also had another sm Convict and a Green Terror in the 100gal tank (The Terror really lived up to his name!!) and they are now in the 30gal tank with a Queen Arabesque Pleco. I really don't know what to do with them? ![]() Sooo that's my story and I'm glad to finally find a place where I can share my fish enthusiasm with other fish-lovers who can understand the obsession Thanks for having me! |

Welcome to FF!
I definitely wouldn't keep the Green Terror in the 30g. Might look into trading that one in at the LFS (local fish store) or selling it to someone with a larger (less full) tank. |
