Hello,
I have had freshwater tanks all of my life and now want to start a FOWLR saltwater tank. What is the smallest size you would recommend. What about a corner tank this size?

Thanks,

I recomend starting with a larger tank for anything. You can make any size tank work. But the pure fact that a larger tank is a lot easier to clean. And maintenance on a bigger tank is also not going to be as hard as maintaining a small tank. Keep your eye on Craigslist or petcos 1$ a gallon sales. Best of luck and welcome to the site!

First salt tank? Try for 30 gallons at least, especially for a reef. More experience=can use smaller tanks.
