Hello!
I am new to the forum, but have kept planted tanks and salt water reefs for years. I broke down my last tank about 2 years ago, but I want to start up again. So, I figured that I would find a good forum and see if I can learn some new stuff and get back into the swing of things!
I don't have many photos unfortunately, but here is a pic of the last tank that I had before I broke it down. It was just a 10 gallon rimless cube, but it brought me years of enjoyment sitting on my desk.

Thank you Here are a few more pics of that tank below, it's not 10g, it's a 12" cube so it was only 7.5g haha. I wish I could find pictures of my other planted tanks I use to have, I know they are on this computer somewhere in the 1,000s of files of 1,000s of pictures.
Like you, my favorite kind of under water scape are fresh water, fully planted tanks. I do love reef tanks as well, but I don't see me ever having the time to invest in building one up again . I may set that rimless cube up again soon just for fun, but trying to manage only 7g gallons of water is a real pain.

It looks real nice! When you get set back up and have any questions just let us know. But so far with your past I think you will do just fine. It's refreshing to see someone who knows a thing or two sign up here.

Rimless tank? Now you really need to find those old pics!

Green Tiger Barb, I don't know why he looks so blue in that cage.. I had three of them I got about 5 years ago. I have 1 left that I feel really bad for but he is in a 30 gallon tall that is 3/4 water. It houses frogs, a newt, and a baby Diamondback terripin that I am raising to put in my pond with my Female Diamondback terripin that is out there now. There are also some tadpoles, and tons of guppys, and one mudskipper. They all get along really well and have for quite some time now. The Tiger barb just picks off baby guppies whenever he feels like it and I have no problem with that!

I love them. They are a somewhat aggressive fish and will hold their own, but I love their energy in a nice small school.
