Turtles and Mollies and Plecos, Oh My!
Well, hi. I started off with one rescued Red Ear Slider and ended up turning my backyard pool into a pond. Then, because it was outside, we needed goldfish and mosquitofish. Then I rescued more turtles. Then winter came and I had to move everyone inside.
My creature pals:
9 Red Ear Sliders
-- Timmy, Chewy, Betty, Frick, Frack, Sheldon, Morkie, Mindy, and Baby Timmy (Powershell)
6 Mollies
-- Smoke, Fire, Snow, Cookie, Baby Molly, and Spotty Fish
200+ Goldfish
-- Princess Two-Tails and Bobak are the only ones that have names. So far.
50+ Gambusia affinis (mosquitofish)
2 Plecos
-- Captain Pleco (8 inches) and Zeus (12 inches)
My environments:
55 gallon aquarium
20 gallon aquarium
10 gallon aquarium
300 gallon rubbermaid stock tank
250 gallon rectangular wooden pond
I'm addicted. I never thought I would love fish or turtles, but here I am. I also have two cats, two kids, and a husband, but those warm-blooded creatures feed themselves for the most part and don't poop where they eat, so they're less maintenance.
Hi.

You turned a pool into a pond... Any chance we'll get to see pictures? That sounds so amazing. 8D
