Hello from Illinois
Hi, I'm a teenager from Illinois and I currently have 3 fish living in a 10 gallon tank. I have been taking care of fish for around 4 years now and I have become very interested in goldfish, so I decided to join this forum. I think it's going to be great to talk to people who care about fish as much as I do, and I hope to learn many new things about the species. Also, compared to a lot of people here I have little knowledge about fish so I apologize in advance if I say something stupid.
One more thing. A few weeks ago, one of my goldfish, Mr. Finny, passed away. I'm considering replacing him with a different small freshwater fish that can live at room temperature (around 70F at my house). I would love to get recommendations!
Anyways, I'm super excited to be part of this forum!
EDIT:The picture I just set as my avatar is a picture of my 3 current fish.

Welcome to the forum. I think white cloud mountain minnows are a "cool" water fish. They are not only cheap, but are nice looking and are better in schools.

Thanks for the idea BV77. How many minnows are needed for a school? I only have a 10 gallon tank with 3 fish already in it so I'm a little concerned about space. [ ]

I love the long-finned white clouds, colorful and active.

Welcome to the forum! Blond/Golden White clouds are my favorite, and worth the extra couple of bucks.
