Default Newbie to site...Hello!

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and excited to be here. I have been a member of chiclid forum for about a year or so, just trying to branch out and learn new things from new people.

Currently I have a 120 with all Lake Malawi Haps & Peackocks, except for the 6 Brichardi from lake Tang. Total of about 25 fish.

I just set up a 55 gallon that I will put the Brichardi in, I am also going to put some Calvus, and am trying to get my hands on some Juvi Fronts that I can watch grow untill it is time for a bigger tank.

I am glad to be here and hopefully get the time to enjoy your knowledge.

Welcome. If you need any questions answered, just ask. Maybe you can teach us a few things too.

If you have a big enough tank with enough hiding places, pH of around 7, you can keep virtually any fish together as long as all the fish are around the same size and these two groups of fish are avioded:
Serrasalmus
Tetradon
(figure eights and dwarfs are the
exception).

I keep a successful community of fish in a 4 foot tank including the following families:
Cichlids, tetras, loaches, gouramis, barbs, rainbows, livebearers, killiefish, catfish, puffers.
