Howdy Ya'll
Hey There!
I'm new to this site, though i go on other fish forums...!!
I'm pretty new to the fish hobby... you can see from below what fish i have, i've had them all for about 3-4Days, in a tank i've had for about 2-3weeks...
Like i said, i'm 'new' to this site and would love to meet everyone!  I've been researching fish for the past couple of months and now know quite abit about different fish!
I'm 14, female, from essex.. and (i might add) have been a vegeatarian for nearly 6years!  I have a few other pets, a border terrier, called Ruby, a spotty cat called Sophie and two russian dwarf hammies, called Bruce and Joey! I like movies, gangster and horror are my favourite, Reservoir Dogs is my all time favourite, directed and written by my GOD - Quentin Tarantino. My 2nd favourite movie is Sin City, which happens to be my favourite graphic novel. I like all fish - i think they're all different and unique! And i especially have a soft spot for snails (i'm on the lookout for a black mystery snail!).
So, how about you guys?

Wow vegi for 6 years? that's cool... for what reasons, may I ask...
About me, I'm Nam (ppl call me Max) I'm a 17 year-old boy from Vietnam. I currently have fish and reptiles only. I am also doing research on dogs and planning to have some. I'll be an exchange student in the US next year... that's why my title is "The Ambassador of Vietnam"

And as for the reptile things, you say, at the end of next year, or beginning of the... well... next NEXT year, i'm getting two little geckos
And i'm vegetarian mainly for the 'can't stand eating animal' reason, i'm pretty soft-hearted when it comes to animals, and pigs and cows are no exception

Welcome! 85 gallon is a nice size tank, as for I also have one. lol. Its the best cause you could bascially put anything freshwater in it besides A FW ray or arowana.
But yeh, WELCOME!

Oh yeah... i currently have 2 turtles. I plan to have chameleons and some snakes. Maybe it's when I'm in the US?
|
And i'm vegetarian mainly for the 'can't stand eating animal' reason, i'm pretty soft-hearted when it comes to animals, and pigs and cows are no exception

Cool! I also think about it... gotta be a challenge for me!

Well... I like challenges It wasn't hard for me - there are so many meat-free substitutes i can eat instead... in fact there's more varieties now, than there was!

I could be a vegitarian easily...every once in a while i'd have to go to AppleBees and get those BBQ ribs tho. :P

Hi! And welcome! Hope you will stick around the fish business for ever! I am also a vegetarian, I'm a very strong believer in that. I'm a strange one, I also don't believe in dairy products, mainly because the way they are used. You can't get milk unless the animal has a baby. I think that dairy products should be used sparingly. I'm also allergic to dairy products, so I never use them. I don't eat fish, I believe eating fish, or any other type of animal would be just like eating your dog or cat. And that, would be disgusting! My sis (shes 14) and I, are both vegetarians, but the rest of the family isn't, but its not hard for me to stick to being a vegetarian!
