Ive kept almost everything you can keep in tanks 75g and under, so had some experiance. Id say my fav accomplishments would have to b breeding and selling HM plakat betta, and making a very nice nanoreef |

Welcome, - back.
You probably didn't recognize the place when you drifted in. LOL I remember you and am glad your back. It never hurts to have more people to help with answers and for the more experienced to talk more in depth about their fish. |

And simpte schools not bad but it kills your fish keeping, so i still have some tanks at home like a discuss tank, and will probably be making a 50g Fishonly SW tank this summer, and i have a few other cichlid and like 1 or 2 nice betta still, but at school i got nothing. I really need ideas thats beyond betta for a small tank that i can bring home and back a few times a year and right now im really thinking dwarf cichlids like ****atoos but dunno anyone with ideas?

Hey Hogan. I just returned a little while ago myself. I wonder how much longer it'll be before the rest of fishtimes' members come back. I guess fishtimes is pretty much dead now, eh? I couldn't find the forum or anything other than the main page last time I checked.

Apistos, Hogan. Small and should be easy for someone of your experience. They travel well and a trio will fit in a 10 gallon tank.

If you have a big enough tank with enough hiding places, pH of around 7, you can keep virtually any fish together as long as all the fish are around the same size and these two groups of fish are avioded: Serrasalmus Tetradon(figure eights and dwarfs are the exception). I keep a successful community of fish in a 4 foot tank including the following families: Cichlids, tetras, loaches, gouramis, barbs, rainbows, livebearers, killiefish, catfish, puffers. |
