Smile Hi I am Martina

....and I have a 10 Gallon freshwater fish tank since mid August 2005, so far 1 longfinned zebra danio and 3 red serpeas tetra are in there - next week I will introduce 3 more tetras. I am still trying to figure out how to take best care of my fish and my plants - and I am happy that I found this forums!

Default Hi

Hi Im mandy,
I also have a ten gallon aquarium, but I have seven goldfish in it! I was looking up information on the internet and I found out seven goldfish in a ten gallon is way too many

Hi ...I found several times doing my research the inch per gallon rule that means that for a 10 gallon tank 10 inches of adult fish...and I remember reading somewhere that goldfish need even more space - so you have to get a bigger tank for them and some new fish for your 10g tank

Welcome to FishForums, Martina and Mandy!

That's true. A 10 gallon if too small for any goldfish. Even the smallest goldfish will get too big for a 10 gallon tank.
