Default Well this is a goodbye...

I feel that this isn't the right forum for me, Don't get me wrong I love fish but there seems to be some spammers in the picture sections like FishFreak with the alien icon (Wow odd icon for a FISH forum) he replies to every thread! I am sorry but these forums dont feel right to me. So good bye

I'm sorry to hear that, but everyone is entitled to their own type of avatar, as a signature for them to stand out. Not sure what you mean by spammers in the picture section? I post alot of pictures in there, hope none of mine you think is spam.

FishFreaks is two people and they are the mods in that section. That is why they reply so much. I think it is kind of weird to not even be able to spell the name of the state you live in.

Just because its a fish forum doesnt mean you have to have fish in your avatar.

Yeah, I used to have Britney spears in my avatar, remember guys?
So you're leaving, who cares, you've only made 5 posts and you've insulted our entire forum. I don't think that anyone really wants to wish you fairwell now, do you? And you are leaving because of Fishfreaks avatar, what an insane reason. Also I don't think you are helping the forum as a whole, you post in the wrong sections and your signature is too large, in my opinion, good riddance.

exception).

I keep a successful community of fish in a 4 foot tank including the following families:
Cichlids, tetras, loaches, gouramis, barbs, rainbows, livebearers, killiefish, catfish, puffers.

Because they hope we will try to convince them to stay? Or maybe they think we will feel bad about it.

Come on Neon Tetra, who mind those avatars? We just want to express ourselves a little bit (This reminds me of the dresscode issue in highschool ). As long as they're not offensive, they're good to go!
If you don't like to see them, just turn them off (Go to your control Panel and then to Options)
Hey know what, this is my 2000th post, this is my favorite message board. I sticked to it for years since it's informative and friendly! I don't really have get into fish issue all the time I log in; I get into some sections that I'm assigned to moderate and it's still fun, man. You are always welcomed (back) here.

Yeah I mean we have other hobbies than fish. My favorite hobby is automobiles. I am restoring a 1951 Willys 4x4 pickup truck with an 8in lift and I drive a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Daytona. That's my favorite hobby though aquariums are a hobby also. I'll probally add my truck into my avatar. To be a part of this forum you don't just have to to focus 100% on aquariums in life not even on this forum like maxpayne said.

If all we talked about was fish continually, we'd be a pretty bored (and boring) group of people.

Interesting he (I have to assume it's a he) felt the need to announce his departure. Personally I think it's great that you hear from the moderators so frequently in these forums! That's one of the best things about them, keep it up guys, thanks
