Default n00b

N00b here but been around message boards for years. Just getting my feet wet again with fish. Had cichlids in a 20 gallon tank about 15 years ago. Now i have a 75 gallon that i'm about to set up with cichlids but everything is new to me....i forgot alot of things but i'm sure you guys/gals can give me a push start. I'll post my questions in the appropriate forums as they come up.
Looking forward to conversing on the boards.

Welcome Dregg, any questions and just give me a shout.

If you have a big enough tank with enough hiding places, pH of around 7, you can keep virtually any fish together as long as all the fish are around the same size and these two groups of fish are avioded:
Serrasalmus
Tetradon
(figure eights and dwarfs are the
exception).

I keep a successful community of fish in a 4 foot tank including the following families:
Cichlids, tetras, loaches, gouramis, barbs, rainbows, livebearers, killiefish, catfish, puffers.
