Default Hello folks

I am totally new to the hole fish thing. I just aquired a 10 gallon tank with a Pictus cat, 2 Ploty, and a Pucostimous. I hope I spelled them right. As usual when I do anything I don't just do a little I jump in with both feet, so I found your forum in hopes of tring to find out as much info about fish and there care as I can. I have only had the tank a week but can already see more in my future. I would have to say that I never thought I would be interested in fish except for catching them and frying them on the grill but I find them great to watch, better then the darn tv.

Other then my new fish hobbie I am a hard core waterfowler and get bossed around by a 100 pound Black Lab that is my main hunting partner.

I hope to get to know a few of you and eventually be able to contribute to the forum but for a while I am sure all I will be doing is learning from you guys.

Jim S.

Hey welcome. I see your a hunter that's cool I've been wanting to go hunt some exotic rams in Texas but gotta get some money. You found a great place to start and grow at. The pictus catfish and plecostumas do need a bigger tank though. The platies are fine in there though.
