Default Howdy from So Cal

Hey everbody,

My name is Ben and I'm totally new to this fish thing. It's great to find a forum like this that has so much useful info on it(I've already at least doubled my fish knowledge...of course next to nothing doubled still isn't very much, but it's better than nothing )

If anybody has friendly advice to pass on, I'd be more than willing to listen. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone better in the near future.

Ben

Right now I'm looking into just kind of the basic freshwater community type fish. I started with guppies and will be sticking with the hardier fish for a little while yet. I'm hoping they provide me with the best learning curve and are a little more tolerable of any minor mistakes I might make while I'm still learning. I'd like to eventually get into rarer Fw types but want to know what I'm doing before that happens. Right now I'm still a little about all there is to figure out but I'm getting there.

What kind of fish do you have?
