Default Re - Introduction

Hi everyone.

I've been here and there for the past months. I had some problems the other day but I cured it myself before contacting TheOldSalt and others

I don't know what's in my sig at the moment so for those who don't know i have:

125 FW
10" australian arowana (scleropages jardini)

20L FW
3 peppered cories
6 bumble bee gobies (maybe 4, i haven't seen 2 in a week but i have a plastic log they can hide in)

I got married on May 7th (sorry ladies), it was a small but elegant wedding at a bed and breakfast in Historic Fredericksburg. Colonial meets Asian, and yes we pulled it off well.
I'm... ahem. We're looking for a piece of land now, roughly 5 acres. We're going to build a log cabin style house done with cedar, the plans are fabulous, and i'm designing my basement.
So I'll have my fishroom soon!

Oh! The problem I had with my 125, when i got back from the Honeymoon in Rainy San Diego, (yes i was there the week it rained but 'twas all good), my tank had a gigantic algae bloom. the water was so green you couldn't see an inch into the tank. when my jardini would swim by you could only see a silhouette. I still have my 3000 watt UV sterilizer even though my pump broke. I rigged up a 400gph power head to it and got it to run. I noticed it was clearing up after a day. 3 days later the water was clear as a bell and i then performed a big wc. i took pictures of it clear, but my camera was full when it was green so no comparison pics, sorry. I'll post those pics when i upload them.

C

Glad to see you back. I was busy and kind of disappeared myself for awhile. So I know what its like to get a little to busy and have to much on your plate. Just remember that even if a moderator (me) can get that busy we understand if everyone else can get that way to.

Just remember, Make sure you stop back here everytime things slow back down.
