Default Swordtails

Would it be okay two put a couple of swordtails in with some neons and guppies?

that depends on how aggressive your swordtails are most are aggressive so you most likely won't be able to put them together cause the neons and guppies will get beaten and eaten.
but I have had gentle swordtails before so might be able to.

I have seen the male swordtails get a bit agressive as guppyart said. I have a tank that one male swordtail in it and it has dominated the tank. He made a couple other males jump out of the tank and has the females looking for constant cover. The problem is they are a fun fish to have so you got to find a tank to keep them in

Actually I cant guarentee that a female would be any less agressive. It is just that my male is so agressive that he is king of the tank and does not give any other fish a chance.

I had that happen when I had to replace the male I had the new one was very aggressive but I had raised the original male with guppies so he seemed to not notice them.

darn. I really wanted a pair. anyone have suggestions as to what I should get? I have 10 neons and 3 guppies and 1 weather loach. oh ya its a 29 gallon

You could add a few glowlights, or rummy nose tetras. A few white clouds might be a good color mix with your neons and guppies.

ya. I'm gonna get some rummy nose. I was gonna get some, but my dad really liked the black neon tetras. they don't have white clouds here. got any pics of glowlights?

Here is a picture of one er actually two one is shadowing the other. That is a natural color they are not dyed or injected.

oh. cool. I'll see if they have some at my lfs. They have a ton of neons there, but not too much of any other kind of small fish.
