Default I-35W iin Minniapolis collaspes!! (didnt know where else to put this)

At least 6 or confirmed dead with a report of at least 50 cars having plunged into the Mississippi.

This is the major insterstate (35W) that links St Paul to Minneapolis and is always busy. Very sad way to start the month of August.

I think that was a terrorist attack. Didn't an overpass just collapse a few days ago too?

Either this was planned or this is one big koinkydink. Overpass collapsed in california. and now a Bridge collapsed in Minnesota. What next? The london bridge comes falling down?

Oh yea. How does a bridge just collapse? Last time I checked most states require the bridge be checked once a month or year or something. And another suspicious thing, THEY WERE BOTH UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Which narrow's down the chances to.
1) Someone screwed up big time on the construction.
2) Someone either snuck in, was on the inside of the construction, somehow planted explosives.

Either way ill bet 5 dollars that this isn't the last incident.

So two bridges collapsed in a short period of time. Nothing really points to terrorists. Even today bridges arent completely stable. Remember that pedestrian bridge over the Thames? They had to close it down for repairs because it wobbled excessively.

So basically, despite all the precautions we take, it happens. It's tragic, yes, but it happens.

The bridge was surveyed and the thinking (right or wrong) was they had a few more years before they had to reinforce the area before something like this happened. Blame the cheap budget minded gov't and try not to witch hunt for more terrorists.

It shouldn't happen more then once in a month. The bridge that fell has many people cross to go home. Like parents? I know it wouldn't make me feel better about the goverment if my parent's died because they didn't bother make inspections on the bridge.

And one other thing. How would a dust cloud just appear? From what people said they dust could came and then the bridge started to fall? Should'nt that happen after the bridge fell?

There is alot of talk about what "probably" happened but nothing is proved yet. Most of the talk is about the bridge's structure though and not about terrorism.

I've never heard anything about terrorists...and we don't get earthquakes around here...lol. I think it was just the government not taking good enough care of the bridges.

Your forgetting about micro earthquakes, almost every place in the world experiences some minute earthquake. And the New Madrid fault line is reasonably close to Minnessota.
