We're still hacked, unless that big banner that says "Stop being a little Bit ch" is supposed to be there.

Has anyone identified this Trojan Horse yet? Which one is it and what does it do?

Nothing is wrong. The guy just bought the ad space and its all automated. I have deactivated the banner until he changes it.

Sorry to hear about the hack. I ran a website and forums for a computer game last year and it was hacked. People that hack sites are freakin losers. All the time, devotion and hard work people put in to making a site and forums just to be hacked by some punk out of enjoyment is ridiculous. Thanks admins for all your hard work.

Funny, I was able to log on yesterday with no problems. Same on my desktop.

I asked Rob about it, and he said since our anti-virus was telling us FF had a virus that had to do with ActiveX, that it was probably a banner ad. They call it "Drive By Infection" or something of the sort, which means that even though you didn't click the ad, it can still get you infected with the virus.

We have AdBlockPro on both computers, which is why I was able to get to the forum with no prollems.

Maybe the person that bought the banner ad space put the trojan on the forum?

Well, I'm running Vista and using IE8. When I went to the site, it asked if I wanted to run the ActiveX control, and obviously I didn't. I Xed out immediately. I haven't seen any signs of a Trojan and my Norton scan didn't find anything.

McAfee blocked a script, but hasn't detected anything since. I think it blocked the attempt to infect me.

Ya Vista is pretty much AMAZING. I went back and looked at my virus scan. It caught a virus and killed it. I wouldn't want a mac lol my friend gets virus all the time with Mac OS 10 or what ever the newest one it. Vista IMO and many others is more secure. But we are not hear to talk about that. Should I run a virus scan on my computer that is running Xp?
