on july 4th 2009 ; Aquaradio will be launched... the owner/operator of this radio station is Mr. Frank Falcone... one of the foremost authorities on corydoras in the country.. he currently keep more than 70 different species of corydoras type catfish..
this will be "talk radio"....with topics on all different aspects of the aquarium hobby.... there will also be special guests now and then...
the first guest will be Mr. Mark Denaro....president of the IBC... (Internal Betta Congress).. also proprietor of anubias by design...

Hey, you beat me to it. I just finished reading Frank's email. Boy, did it ever take a long time to download. Easy on the pics, Frank, sheesh!
Anyway, yes, this looks like it's going to be very interesting. I always wondered if internet radio had a place for fishy talk.

has anybody listened to the program? it aired several times yesterday..i thought it was excellent... very informative....
it will air again today..times are listed in the betta section..
i have not heard what the program will be next weekend.that will come in the newsletter..

Well if you have an Itunes account you can listen to them on their too and you can probably convert them to MP3 format from their too. Otherwise you might just need to check the link Loha gave back in another thread.

Hey, did you read this month's Tropical Fish Hobbyist magazine?
There is a big mention of Aquaradio in the editorial page, on account of the editor being scheduled to do a show on it.
That might get some folks to tune in, eh?

i will probably go out and pick up my copy today..Frank Falcone is quite well known in the fishworld..he is currently keeping about 85 different species of cories..on a few of the species he is one of the very few that have been able to get them to breed..he is also famous for his outstanding guppies and swordtails..
Frank is currently keeping and breeding some of the new angel color variations coming out of the phillipines developed by ken kennedy and a couple of other fellows..
Frank also does a weekly music show..usually from 7:30 P.M. to 11:30 P.M.
at first it was on Monday evenings ; but with frank being sick lately it changes..you can check when it will be on the aquabid forums "cafe" section..lots of great tunes..
all you younger kids stay away..you won't hear any of your kind of music there...lol

If any of you have direct access to Frank, Can you ask him if he can make another copy of the audiolinks so we can download the source? I'd love to be able to listen to these on my ipod, but I can't find the podcast listed anywhere and can't download the source from his embedded player.

Frank is known as "coryologist" on Aquabid, so everyone has direct access to him via the "ask the seller a question" links on any of his auctions.
He has some really good stuff, too.

sadly ; aquaradio music nights will soon be coming to an end..there will only be 4 more shows..i have enjoyed the shows immensely..it was the music of my life.i am going to miss it a lot..
