There's downsides and upsides.

First off if you were to start on a mac, it would take you 2 months to become a pro. It took me 4 years to even learn how to take screen shots. But let's not have this fight because Mac's were the first and the best.

FYI to admins, the $500+ Dollars you spent on this style, wasn't exactly worth it, I bet I could make something better. But I lack the ability to code in XML :P

First off, I didn't say anything bad about the chatroom. Just that I couldn't use it. And I suggested an alternative. Second off, I was saying that for how much money they spent, they could of used a diffrent site, such as forummonkeys where they actully have completly cutomized forums for the same or less cost. And don't call me a noob, just because im new to the site, doesn't mean I don't know about it. Noob is such a stupid word, and im almost certain it means stupid, or doesnt know anything. Which im pretty sure I know how to use vB. Im here to learn about fish, not to argue with you because I made some suggestions.

Actually, you didn't offer any website or alternative to the forums layout. You merely said that you could have done a better job.

Im looking at the hard work right now, it's called the Java shoutbox. :P I could never do that, just because I suck at that kind of coding. Whoever set that up obviously put some time into it. But the thing is hiring a company to setup a style that has some of the original icons is just unacceptable for 500+ dollars. For 500 dollars many sites will do everything for you including custom shoutbox's. Something as simple as an icon should not be missed.
