I just caught a red-fin pickerel out of Lake Murray in SC and I am thinking about keeping it. The problem is... i dont know exactly what to feed it. It is maybe 2 to 2.5in. I have a few small Mosquito Fish in the tank with it that i feed my Water Dragon. Do you think these would be ok to feed it???

At that size, live feeder fish and certain insects are probably all it will readily take. Try mosquito fish, guppies, rosey reds, etc. but make sure you gutload them days before you feed to the pickerel.
Be certain to check the laws for your state- certain areas have regulations on pickerel, and some even prohibit the capture of them to begin with.

In a seperate tank, a week before feeding, feed the fish a good flake food, etc. Right beforehand, let it "gorge" on the food, then feed to the pickerel. If it isn't done, your basically feeding it a fish with little nutrition that's staving.
