I have a 5g and I want to put a single puffer in it. I would like something bigger than the dwarfs and think a leapord would be nice. Please also include what I might put in his enviornment.

A leopard puffer, AKA Green-Spotted Puffer is not appropriate for a 5 gallon. These fish really require a 29 gallon tank. I'd recommend a single dwarf puffer in that tank.

I agree. A dwarf puffer is all that would be appropriate for that size tank.....and it would need to be a single dwarf. If you want something bigger, you'll have to have a larger tank available.

I do have lots of tanks. I might just a puffer in the tank when it is young then transfer when it gets bigger.
How big do these dwarfs get? |
