With all the information out there on killifish, why doesn't anybody mention that they're jumping fools???
They jump out of the even tiniest opening!!!!! I bought a pair almost 2 years ago from a breeder and he didn't mention the jumping. Result was that the female jumped out and died before I found her! Now I still have the male in a 10gal tank and covered all the way with plexyglass. Sometimes he still jumps and hits his head on the top (ouch). I really like the fish for the color and hardyness, but it is so difficult to have a normal tank without them jumping out. Just thought I bring this important issue to attention for people interested in killifish |
