Default wats wrong????

my fish seems sick but I cant figure out what is wrong with it......or maybe im just in denial =P, bcuz it looks like it might have tuberculosis......i dunno

its supposed to be a yellow killifish with red outlining its fins, but its spine has curved into a perfect S and the whole left side of its body is slowly getting covered in little tiny black dots that you can only see if you look REALLY close. otherwise it just looks like half the fish is turning black. Some parts around its head also look like it is missing scales, but that could just be because my other fish were picking on it..........????? plllleez help me!!! =)=) thx

Don't flush dead fish, and especially not if they are sick. That can introduce nasty diseases into your local waters which not only destroy your local ecology, bu wind up in your drinking water someday.

Was the fish still alive when you flushed it down the toilet? **** ****

She never said it was dead when she did it. Makes me think it was still alive
What's with the myth that "flushing" fish down a toilet is a good thing to do? It's extremely cruel if the fish is still alive, and even if it is not... read TheOldSalt's post above.

If I have one die on me, and I'm sure it's dead, I generally throw them away (quickly, and crying all the way to the trash...yes I'm very emotional about dead pets). For one, I can't stand flushing them just because of the thought of it and two, at least they get buried eventualy that way. They're right about diseases also, if you're on city water things can be accidentally introduced into the water system by flushing the poor critter.
