Default FW Flounder

I jus got a FW flounder and I kno they prefer brackish conditions my 25g has 1 tablespoon of aquarium salt per 5 gallons so i believe it should be ok so anyway, what can I feed this dude? I got some freeze dried blood worms would that work? Hes about 3 inches long and likes to stay buried in one place in the sand.

Offer him all sorts of goodies until you find something he likes. The worms should work, but try some live blackworms, too, and other stuff. You can get blackworms at FishBiz in Mary Esther, across from the mall. ( you should call first to make sure they have them handy ) The trick is to get them eating something, anything, in order to keep them alive long enough for them to figure out how to eat stuff more convenient, like pellets.

aquarium salt wont make a tank brackish. you need to buy salt used to make saltwater aquariums, such Instant Ocean or Coralife.

i feed mine frozen bloodworms. he like those, and frozen brine shrimp, live foods too. but freeze dried are going to float, and its going to be very hard for it to get at. any other fish in there?

Well, ask Larry what he's feeding his; he probably knows just what they already like.
Petland usually has the best plant selection in the area. Weird they didn't have A.nana.
