Talking Killifish Spawning?

Ok, so how do they do it exactly? do they curl around each other or somthing cause i have never had egg layers breed before and 2 of my killifish look like they are ready, also do they just lay on silk plants or what? i would like to try to raise some...

Hoooboy..
Killies breed in a lot of different ways, so you pretty much have to go by species, or Genus anyway, to discuss their particular habits. Some of them also breed in different ways depending upon the situation in their tank. The American Flagfish, for example, spawns in at least 3 very different ways in response to whatever's the most handy.
Some dig pits, some lay on plants, some scatter. Some breed many times, but some only once. Some like good conditions, and some breed when things are going bad and it's their last chance.
I guess it would help a lot if we knew what you had, and why you think they're ready to spawn.

The "Golden Wonder" is a top-spawning fish. They typically lay their eggs in floating plants. Most breeders us a "spawning mop" made of dark green yarn and attached to a float of some sort, like a cork. Killies don't "have a spawn" like many other fish. They will lay a few eggs every day or so over a long period of time. So you'll have some new eggs laid, while some are hatching, while some are growing up.... This is why killie folks usually have lots of plastic shoeboxes and small tanks.

If you want to spawn killies (and most any other fish) you should seperate them into their own tank. Remove the parents once spawning is done (except for fish who raise their young).

Oh, you didn't say there were a bunch of other fish. That kinda derails your chances for spawning.
As for the mops, you can buy them in some places, or just make them. Some green yarn, a cork, and a wire bread-loaf twisty-tie are all you need.
