Default Silly Mosquito Fish

Does anyone know if there are cats/plecos similar to the twig cat that grow larger?
I love the way they look, but I think it's too risky to put one in if it doesn't get to a least 6 or 7 inches long.

I have had them in the past. They are very peaceful, generally don't eat plants, and kinda sensitive to water quality. A large pleco or catfish in the same tank would probably bully them, and they have long trailing fins that picky fish like to chew on. I have seen them offered recently at the local Pet Smart, so I would just check with local pet stores. They are not that uncommon.

I would suggest looking them up on Planet catfish or google them to get a better idea of what they are like...
good luck!

Okay, I give up..why is this thread called "silly mosquito fish" when you're talking about twig cats and not mosquitofish? I've been trying to figure it out for a couple of days now without success.
Anyway, I agree that the Royal Farlowella is probably just what you're looking for.

EDIT: D'oh! I figured it out just after hitting the submit button. Its the snout, right?
