Default orange chromide tankmates

hello Im setting up a 20l tank in the next week for some orange chromides (young around an inch or less,).I would really love to put a
BGK(black ghost knife) in there eventually, does anyone see any conflicts here?
from what ive read and people ive talked to It 'seems' things should be ok.
any suggestions or considerations?
what bottom feeders might do well with this combo?
Id really like to have live plants as well I was planning on java ferns any other easy care plants i should read about?

any help is greatly appreciated!

20l-- Is that 20 gallons long or 20 liters?

Either way, since the chromide is a brackish water fish & the BGK hates salt, these two wouldn't make very good tankmates.

Ok ill scrap the idea of the ghost knife for another tank then .
Its a 20 gallon long ,I also purchased a marineland bio wheel filter
rated at 100 gallons per hour.I plan on putting three young orange chromides in there .Ive been keeping the salt ratio about 1 tbs / 1 gallons.they seem to be doing fine does that sound about right ?
any suggestions for tankmates ?I really like oddballs like knife fish!

Your saline level is perfect for chromides.

Gobies, puffers, big Sailfin Mollies, Mudskippers..that's about all that would fit in a 20. Monos & Scats need much bigger tanks. The mudskippers would of course need some mud or something to climb up on out of the water. Actually, Mudskippers are too big, too.
OOH, I just remembered Pupfish. Cyprinodon varigaetus is the common blue & orange sheepshead pupfish of the gulf & east coasts. Then there's silversides, and maybe even some pseudomugils ( threadfins ).
Flounders & some eels also work well in a brackish tank.
