Good Morning, I am wondering where is a good place to find food for my puffers. my fish shops here dont carry anything for them. unless i want to buy 8 dollar shrimp/snails each thats 3 times the puffers size, where else can i look. Call me cheap if you want but I also dont want to pay the high price of shippingwhere the shipping is 3x the cost of the item. any idea's??

Try putting a request in the "wanted to Buy" section.... http://www.fishforums.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=34
There are a zillion people out there that are plagued with unwanted snails. And like I use to, will just toss them out.
or
go to a local pond with a long handle net & dredge the bottom, you'd be surprised what you come up with

yes I do but they dont have any snails or shrimp that are small, the ones the carry are not meant to be eaten, or atleast at over $5. each i would not think so , and there 2x the size of my puffers.

I might be able to help you out. The LFS has ghost shrimp for 12 for 99 cents, and I could get some small snails for you free. PM me if you are interested; I would want you to pay actual shipping (probably approx. $5) and the actual price of the ghost shrimp if I had to buy them.

Heh heh I guess I sound cheap too
