I'm now accepting entries for the August Photo of the Month Contest. As always, send your photo submission via Private Message to me by the entry deadline.

I'd also like to remind everyone that the contest has now been going for 6 months (skipped over June). We've had some great entries in the past as well as participation from new and old members.

To make this month's contest more interesting, we're going to have a theme. Your challenge is to send in a photo of your fish (or other aquarium critters) making faces. Remember, quality original photos are still the goal here

So send in those gulping, gaping, smiling, sinister looking fish!

POTM Rules apply as always.

And just a little teaser about next month's contest, there is supposed to be a prize that will be donated by one of the members. We'll see how it goes

The member who is donating the prize has specified it be for TOTM. I will post further information concerning the prize when it's time to post about September TOTM. So, the prize is not for POTM, but for TOTM.

As for September POTM, I haven't decided on a theme yet. Since it seems to have gone well for August, I'll definitely be mulling over some ideas between now and the start of September.
