PotM Contest-Anyone?

In consideration of this happy, good feeling time of year (*feels all warm inside*), I have a question. Why don’t we do PotM contests anymore? I know it must be a hassle, but it looks like we’ve never had one. I think it’d be good for the forum, personally.

So, here’s my proposal. PM one photo per member to me by the time I take my vacation allowing me enough time to pack my bags; January 2nd. I will host the images on my Photobucket account so there is no bias in voting. I will keep record of those who took the photos. On the 2nd of January or the day after, I will post a poll in this section of the forum containing the entries. Voting will be for one week until January the 9th; that’s when I get back

Entry deadline: January 2nd or I give up on this idea. That gives you 9 days to enter!

Be expecting the poll to be posted on January 2nd or 3rd for a chance to vote!

Voting deadline: Voting will end on January 9th.

The name of the winner will be posted soon thereafter.

Please, please, please only vote once! Whoever gets your vote should deserve it, so vote carefully.

What you get for being the winner! Nothing, really. On second thought, out of a random act of randomness, I will send the winner (the one who gets the most votes) 5 juvenile Red Cherry Shrimp at no cost. Considering I’ll be back from my vacation and broke, but feeling happy, I think that’s fair. If you don’t keep freshwater, live in the continental USofA, or can’t keep the shrimp, sorry no other prizes. But just be proud!

If you’re interested in this shot in the dark windy desert, send to me via Personal Message one (1) photo related to the fish keeping hobby in .jpg format. I have dial up; it’ll help me out. That means tank shots, macro fish, shrimp, snails, what have you, it’s accepted. It just has to live in the water, and you had to take the picture!

I will accept the FIRST 10 ENTRIES sent to me via PM.

One entry per member, one vote per member, and don’t vote for yourself!

Yes, fish or aquarium related. It can be something you took diving in the ocean, but no cars, shoes, or buildings

As long as it has something to do with fish or aquariums, it's in!
