Default Dirty Clam?

I just purchased my first Crocea Clam three days ago and my neon cleaner goby loves him! I realize that Copperbands and Cleaner Wrasses will sometimes kill clams, but I have not seen anything about cleaner gobies. The goby seems to be trying to get inside of the clam, and the clam is not excepting any visitors. It does not appear that the goby is killing the clam, but he is definitely agitating it. The clam has not been able to open very much, because as soon as it does, the cleaner goby is right there trying to get in. Will the goby eventually tire of this or will the goby effectively starve the clam of light? I assume that the clam is not likely to start allowing the goby to clean it. At night time, my two cleaner shrimp are all over the clam. I am less concerned with this because they have become almost completely nocturnal and I assume that it is less important for the clam to be open at night. Is it possible that I just have a clam that needs a good cleaning and then it will be done?

Your fish will soon harass the clam to death. Find something to cover the clam with till everyone get's used to it being there. Preferably something clear with holes for circulation. Should only take a few days. It it continues after that one or the other will have to be removed or the clam will most likely die from the harassment.

Just wondering but, what lights do you have on your tank?
