Default Getting rid of corals, how to?

I have a large problem, a zoa that is just butt ugly, it's a large zoa and takes up alot of space, but the rock itself is like 10lbs at least. So i want to get rid of it, but there's also two of them big mushrooms on it that i want to keep, how do i kill off the zoa's?

I'm sure a saringe with some very hot water or some lemon juice would do the trick just like apitasia. Otherwise just turn the rock so the zoas are facing the back of the tank! hahah... oh or maybe attach some mushrooms over the top of them... mushrooms are pretty toxic to most things.

try detaching the shrooms with either a powerhead blasting on them, or just cut them loose, once off the rock, you can kill the zoo's anyway you feel nessesary, just dont loose the rock in the process.

Now the rock is just huge, biggest one i have, if there is a way to seperate it fromt he rock without killing it, im game but this thing is just a large colony that it takes up, would even be up for trading for just a plain LR chunk with you locals

those arent zoo's, they are just polyps, yellow polyps, just not yellow, should color up though. try putting them under some less light. or move the shrooms like i mentioned before.

use a round tip butter knife. and take there feet off. pretty simple to do and you can save most of the polyps.

Just out of curiousity, does vinegar work? Ive never tried either of the 2 (JJ or vinegar) but thought it might be helpful to know...

If you got some "Hammers", "Torch", or other stingers in your tank move them close to them and they'll do the job for you. If you wanna just kill them and keep the coraline algea alive I'd take a wire brush (small ones made with steel or stainless) and just brush them off in a bucket of marine water.
