![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I just couldn't pass them up. Got a beautiful Male Blonde Naso tang as well but he came way to large for my 75G. Going to sell him and order another one. One day I'll get a small one. This was the second try. Sold the last one for the same reason.

The Tangs didn't get along very well....Had to seperate them for a little while. I'll reintroduce them when lights go out tonight. That purple tang is a mean sucker. He even attacks my wife's hand.

wow. Have you seen this with other tangs? Should I rethink a yellow one?
Isn't that an angel in the top pic? Aren't you a little worried about it nipping corals? |

Tangs are very territorial. All of them.
And that is a Sailfin Tang, Not an Angel.

Initially it cost quite a bit to get all the right equipment. Lighting for a reef tank is very expensive. Once the equipment is bought and set into place and the livestock is purchased then it's no more expensive to maintain than a freshwater setup really. But getting started is costly.

Didn't think about that. I have over 500 gallons of salt on hand. Buy it from every local reefer that takes their tank down for whatever reason.

I get my salt in 5g buckets from drsfostersmith.com as they are a lot cheaper than my LFS and don't charge extra to ship heavy items.
