Default foureye butterfly

Just wondering if anyone had any personal experience with these fish. Are they reef safe, Eating habits, temperment, and where could I possibly get one since I never see them for sale. I've only been able to find limited info on them trying to research them. And after my experience with a rabbid percula it'd be nice to have first hand info.
Thanks

With butterflyfish, especially ones that are hard to find info on, one should be careful. Reason being that many butterflyfish dont do well in captive because theyre pretty fragile.

But of course i could be totallt off on thsi point.... but thats just what i would consider based on your circumstances.

Not reef safe... and probably not too hardy... I would pass on it... but if your looking for one, probably the only place you'll find one is if you order through your lfs or keep looking at Dr. Foster and Smith Divers Den

Chaetodon capistratus
Foureye Butterflyfish

Aquarium Suitability: 1 Index: 1-5

Difficult to feed. Most are reluctant to take food.

Will eat Stony Corals and Gorgonian polyps!
