that thing was cool! i feed large meaty stuff, so no need for it, and no need to turn off all the flow or anything either, just let the polyps grab it from the turkey baster. they close up quickly enough after to ward off any snipers.

I managed to pickup some Montipora Cap today, nice red coloration one. I seen they have purple as well but never seen that before available.

i have a small chip of a purple, its pretty new, so im waiting on it to encrust, cant keep the dang thing mounted though, someone keeps knocking it around while im asleep. also have a killer green w/ purple rim, my caps grow great, really the only thing you can really notice getting big, everything else you ahve to look at old pictures to realize how much they grow.

My monti grows slow and everything else is growing fast. I've had it since Feb and it still has not attached itself.

my first two i wedged and they worked out great, just gotta wedge em TIGHT! lol, this purple one though, just cant seem to find a spot that holds it just right, and holds it good. you can put a bit of glue on the back, you can even glue them flat down in the middle.

took a chance at the color. I was a little premature about moving stuff back in place figured after it dried would be good, but looks to needing a 2nd coat. I have a great barrier reef underwater photo that is in being framed right now for a centerpiece above the tank. And gonna put some tropical palm tree plants around the room.
