Well friday i am picking up a 54g Corner bow tank RR w/ wet/dry which from pics can easily be turned into a fuge.
Am thinking a 250w MH would be nice over it eh? Am thinking doing SPS/LPS mainly. I really am pleased with my koralia pumps, which ones should get for tank like this? ![]() ![]()

Back in Dec. i had before tax time. I recently tore down our 12g nano as well, the office I discovered doesnt cool on the weekends in the off season so tank had overheated.
I have the 33g reef and now this one soon.. Now that 125g in storage... I've always had to tear down reef before tax time as during tax season i literally am only home on thurs nites and sunday nites i stay at my other home the other nites. My goal is to make them both nearly self sustaining, ATO's, Timer's, Fuges, ETC. Never went to that extent on my previous ones, so i can leave them running during tax time and not worry so much

I would work on the little one right now, do a ton of research and get all of the automated stuff working on it now, then perfect it, then integrate it into the new tank. I would love to see how you plan to automate everything. Perhaps you could get it rigged up so the waterchange could work with the push of a button and just have someone at home push the button every week.
I don't have the slightest clue, at the moment, how you would work this, but isn't how most of this stuff starts? PM if uve got some ideas or wanna talk about it |

koralia's? if your doing sps, go with 2 #3's, or just mod 2 maxi jets. (900) it should blow the lid off the tank.

WAIT!!!
I have got a good idea! Make it the refugium for the other tank! Fill it w/ LR LS Macro and a few fishies and simple corals then hook em up to the same sump, would be awesome! |

Well ran first plumbing tests with the used overflow kit had in the back. Leaking right at the bulkhead, so need a new overflow kit and bulkheads.

Alright! This sucker is up and running, got the light hung above the tank, megaflow overflow kit installed, no leaks at all in the plumbing underneath, i installed a gang valve on return line even! just cuz was afraid would have to die back the return pump as i made the drain line go from 1" to 1/2-3/4" was having hard time figuring out how to plumb it so went that route. Didnt need fast flow anyway as its a refugium.
But no leaks and quite as heck!
