ok, so i have bought
1 blue mushroom 1 red mushroom 1 medium sized colt 1 4 stalk piece of xenia 1 small branching hammer and rock with about 30 polyps ok, ANYWAYS----my xenia, i have only had for 3 weeks, it was on ONE rock, and it was 4 total stalks... now...its on 4 or 5 rocks, and its about 12 or more stalks in only a few weeks.... im glad, but when it is all over, can i just pluck it off the rocks...and like....sell it? |

that stuff is really well known for taking over tanks, luckily it USUALLY only spreads upwards, so you can kinda isolate it and control its growth, as for plucking it off, if you leave even a tiny sliver of goo, it will grow back quickly. as for selling it??? if you can find someone that wants it, yes, no prob, but dont get greedy, it really isnt worth much, attach to a small piece of live rock rubble with a rubber band or a piece of string tied around it loosly to hold it in place till it attaches.

Prune it frequently and keep it to those four rocks if at all possible.
