I got some random "button polyps" from a pet store 2 days ago for super cheap. (guy didnt kno he had them) The polyps where in the bottom of the tank attached to bits of shell. I have them in my tank now and they opened up the day i got them and are still opening up more and more since then. But with them being attached to such a small shell fragment i need to attach them to a larger rock so they wont get rolled by my current or hermits. I figure super glue would work to attach shell to rock since thats how people frag these guys but im still unsure as to how long the glue needs to set and how long the frag can stay out of water. If anyone could help out the polyps would be thankful.

you are going to want to use a gel type superglue. The thicker the better. Put some superglue onto your rubble and place the coral frag on it. Depending on the glue type you basicly just plave the coral frag then place it in tank. The saltwater sets the glue. Make sure to ware gloves.

the glue will either kill the polyp, or the polyp will be fine, its hard to say depending on how much glue you got on it, but if its opening, chances are good it will be fine.
