Default bubble tip anemone division

My bubble tip anemone has divided and apparently both divisions are dying. This is the second one to do this with the same results. Both divisons die within a couple of days. How should I be dealing with the divisions after a split. This anemone appeared to be in geat condition before the split.

Sometimes they split as a last ditch effort to perpetuate themselves from stress. More information about your tank and inhabitants would probably have helped if this thread wasn't 4 months old already. Ooops!
