Default Some New Pics From My Reef

Hey guys... I just thought I'd share a few new pictures that I took of my 30g reef today. I recently upgraded to a 150 watt 20,000K HQI and 2x65 watt 03 Actinic PC lighting on this tank. My stocking list is as follows:

Orange Plate Coral (Fungia sp.)
Leather Coral
Zoanthid colony
Yellow Polyps
Mushroom Polyps
Xenia
Green Star Polyps
Purple Gorgonian
Green Goniopora
Acropora sp. (frag)
Montipora sp. (frag)
Blue Maxima Clam
Mexican Turbo Snails
Peppermint Shrimp
Psychedellic Mandarinfish (readily eats all frozen foods and brine shrimp)

All of the livestock in my tank appears very healthy. My corals expand their polyps fully and have good color. (Well, only added the SPS yesterday, so they aren't fully expanded yet...) It was originally filled with approximately 30lbs of Uaniva live rock, and 40lbs of CaribSea Arag-Alive live sand. I run an Aqua-C Remora skimmer, and two Eheim Aquaball powerheads.

(I am aware that she's a little thin in this pic, but since then, she has put on some weight. I've had her for about six weeks now.)

Very cool! Any chance could get a overall tank show to show lighting and all? i am in the works of setting up 29g but am debating on selling the 110w PC's to get a HQI pendant instead..

Sure, Marty! Well, here's the closest thing that I have taken so far... It's of the fixture on top of the tank. This is actually the Coralife Aqualight Pro - HQI, and I have it on mounting legs instead of suspended. It is about 3" above the tank, and I am using eggcrate as a cover for the tank to allow for more cooling and easier access (for adding supplements, food, and top-off water). If I ever get any fish species that are prone to jumping, the eggcrate will be better than a completely open top system, though.

This picture was taken before I changed to the eggcrate cover, and before I re-aquascaped a little. (Also, as you may be able to tell, I was having a little issue with red slime algae at the time, but that's under control now...) I'll get a new full-tank shot up soon, though.
