Default I think we need a place for product reviews

Just like the title says.

I'm kind of sick of everyone constantly asking about a product or "what they should put in their tank" filtration, etc. wise.

On other forums Product Reviews seems to really take off and I think we need it here too lol.

It would just a basic layout; picture of the product, product info ( what came on the packaging), your experience with it, a rating from one to ten, and the like.

Not much else to say but thought i'd suggest it quickly .

How do you think it should be setup? By product type? Top products?

Well, i'm not the greatest at this stuff but I think you should do it like this:

Split them up in categories like;

Food
Equipment
Medications

and the like lol, sorry i'm trying to make this up as i'm being rushed.

Or you could just do equipment, freshwater products, saltwater products, or whatever. I have no clue at the moment lol. You could split it up in huge categories but would probably be best to keep this "not so big"

I agree. It should be something everyone should be able to comment on, like this site: http://www.aquahobby.com/e_products.php

lol definitely, just about everyone could post on it. I personally would have a ton of reviews in it lol.

There's other forums and sites that have it so you could look at them to see how to set it up, but i'm kind of brain dead right now to suggest anything lol.

I think that's a great idea flamingonhot, should be similar to the system used to write fish profiles? I think so.

I think that's a great idea flamingonhot, should be similar to the system used to write fish profiles (different section names and such and a writing area)? I think so.

I second that idea, too. I think that's an awesome idea. As a beginner at fishkeeping, I know I'll definitely be checking it often!

I think that would be a great idea. I mean i could use all the reviews i could read! I would love to be able to have "tried" the stuff without even buying it! Its a great idea. But i think it should be done on a smaller scale (like the website pac man provided) before expanding and making it a whole 'nother database.

lmao I still think it should be done. I just don't know how though....

I also agree it shouldn't be huge or anything, but not too small. Shaggy..can you help us out on this one? lol

Would you want me to get this put in? There is a vb mod for it. It cost some cash, but if you are all interested in me putting this in and would use it, I will.

i for one would use it, just the number of heaters and filters out there is mind numbing not to mention the cheap knockoffs china is putting out, which ones are good and which ones aren't is a question i ask all the time.
