Please change the swear filter

The swear filter is messing up posts regarding the peac0ck gudgeon, as can be seen in this thread:

Please change the swear filter appropriately. You should be able to remove the wildcard before the swear so that it is only censored when used by itself instead of as part of a word.

I think someone brought the idea of changing the swear filter up not long ago. Apparently it wasn't changed, so there must be a reason.

It is annoying, but saves mods/admins the trouble of filtering everything themselves. Although it seems like you should be able to have the thing pick the word out when alone and not part of another word. When chat was up, it sort of worked like that

That's exactly all it takes. I host a website with forums... all it takes is to remove the wildcard key.

keeps mods from filtering? if someone want to say ****************... they will just say c0ck... therefore your having to filter everything already im sure...

it's the people that want to say pea**************** that are really getting hit here...

thats like saying that banning guns will get rid of all of them and youll never have to worry about searching ppl for guns again...

p.s. you could just give me the choice to turn off the filter... i really dont mind reading the words ass, ****************, ********************, hell, or ****************...

Ya. I agree make an age limit. I am sure you can do it. Cause when they told me something that I needed to do for my 55g it did the ******** thing to this day I have no idea what it is
