This really is a random question but i just wonderd is the FishForums due an upgrade or anything as the sidebar with the tank of the month and picture of the month date back to 2009 and is not what newcomers want to see?

Not possible to fix. Due to some error, the parts of our vbb site code which control the sidebars were lost when we moved to this new server. We can't change the pictures because the tools for doing that are completely gone. The only cure would be to totally replace our current board software with a new version, which may or may not delete all of our tens of thousands of posts.

Why can't you back it up? I know there are websites that backup info and save it in case of a crash.

luv it! (the error mssg says I have to have a message of at least 10 characters: huh? since when? I did not know there was a shortness rule for replies. Of course, being a naturally verbose person, it has never come up...

always been that way as far as I know bud.... most forums have it to stop people just replying lol or the like to increase their post count cos some it really matters too (sad I know lol)
