Could be people double clicking the post button. Not a mod for every area to remove them and I'm sure Mark is extremely busy.

This forum doesn't allow you to double click and post twice. You'd have to go back and post again.

I just did this yesterday... this forum was messing up in some debug mode or whatever. It made me think I hadn't posted.

II suspect it's because of the error I'm getting now and people not checking to see if their post went through first.

Quote:
Could not insert new word matches

It says "You can delete your posts in this forum", but I don't see a button that would allow me to do this. You got something I don't see???

It seems it let's you only delete it (and edit???) as long as there are no additional posts behind your last post. The button was there until you made your post, aqfishguy. Then it went away. Also, I've just tried to edit my last post, it wouldn't let me do it either. Something's messend up good...

You have to delete quick because as thatsfishy said you can only delete if it is the last post on the list. There is a box with a X in it at the top right near the edit button.

My fingers are crossed at this point I can still edit my posts but who knows for how long. I think the server needs a good beating

This isn't the server's doing, but the db. Mark has to repair the "phpbb_search_wordmatch" table.

Haha ... think he did, no error this time!
