Default ZooMed Power Sweep Powerheads

Are the Power Sweep power heads by ZooMed any good? I have read in some reviews that they clog alot and require constant cleaning. Is this true?

Although never owning one myself I've heard this too, and that they can be quite a pain.

I have a few. mechanically, they seem to work fine, but they do seem to get knocked off their bases more often than other power heads and its a pain to keep checking them.
