Default MH Pricing Question

Wherever i look i see the same thing and i ask; why are the 150 watt ballasts higher in price than the 175 ballasts? The same is with the bulbs. Why are the 150 watt bulbs more pricey than the 175 watts? Anyone care to explain?

Simple answer and one you probably already know. I'll give you a clue.....Why are 5 gallon tanks as expensive as 10 gallon tanks?
