Ok,
So i want to redo my filteration i am not satisfied with my current setup. I originally was thinking a L shaped acylic sump, but decided against it. But am thinking of doing Melev's http://www.melevsreef.com/acrylics/s...p_model_d.html Am seeing about tracking down a 15g long and then 10g.

I think i have seen a few thread with people using this design because of limited space. If you decide to go this route make sure to keep us up to date on the project with pictures.

filter socks wont really slow the flow, the only way to slow it, is to slow down the return pump.

Yea, guess wording wasnt right, was more like break it up, so doesnt seem like a straight shot. Like my current filter, the water comes in and actually it goes into a pan like design with tons of holes drilled in it, it gets rid of micro bubbles, and makes it like rain into the refugium.
