Has anyone used this, and will it be sufficient for a reef? It seems like a really good price. Any other lighting suggestions in the same price range?

I've seen this light used on an amazing reef tank, but it all depends on what types of corals you are looking to keep. It would be okay for soft corals, but I wouldn't try to keep any hard corals in it, excluding maybe frogspawn.

montis and caulastrea would probably do fine with that light at the top of the tank as well
