Default New filter

Tetra has released yet another line of filters.

http://www.tetra-fish.com/Catalog/category.aspx?id=835

They look like tree trunks or stone walls. Im not sure how they work. Has anyone seen or tried them? They come in for 10, 20, 30 gallon tanks.

Well if it is up to the standards of the Whispers and the TetraTecs, you will need a bigger garbage can- which is where I would put most Tetra filters I have tried so far.

It looks like a disguised internal to me.

Ive never tried any of thier filters. I guess for people who use internal filters they would be nice.

Why do you dislike them so much?

I think that is the whole point of the design. LOL Many people do all sorts of things to hide heaters and filters. So why not just design one that hides itself. What a novel idea.
