elvis: In answer to your question of "what" the water hole is it is here on the forum. It is where non fish related ideas and things are discussed. from new members photos to birthday celebrations to discussions about new events. All of those things happen there.
Here is the link: http://www.fishforums.com/forum/water-hole.html It can be reached from the main page (the first one that comes up when you enter the site) by scrolling down almost to the bottom. It goes: Announcements; users; Photos of the month; Fish profiles; freshwater; saltwater; then GENERAL. In there is the water hole. Hope that helps.
